Bobbie Smith, a member of Euro-Toques (the European Community of Cooks) and her family have built an international reputation for delicious home baking that incorporates mainly local and organically grown produce. Evening meal is also available by prior notice.

Guests can relax in the garden or play croquet where you may be greeted by a peacock in its full regalia. Close to base there is an excellent 9-hole golf course in Borris, a fully equipped indoor and outdoor riding school and an outdoor swimming pool at Bagenalstown (Summer months). The well known Gowran Park racecourse is within a four mile drive of Lorum Old Rectory.
