Rathwood: Little Keepers - A new adventure for little ones!
Climb aboard the Rathwood Express and chug through the woodland trail to meet the animals just as they sit down to eat. A magical daily adventure your little one will talk about for weeks.
What your little one will do:
- Feed the animals: Get up close with our baby deer, ducks, geese, and sheep at feeding time
- Stamp your acorn passport: Collect a stamp at every stop along the trail — a keepsake adventure all of their own.
- Pot up a plant to take home: Every little keeper gets their hands in the soil and leaves with a plant they potted themselves.

Carlow Garden Festival is one of Ireland's most celebrated gardening events showcasing the beautiful gardens, historic estates and gardening attractions of County Carlow. The nine-day festival includes an exceptional programme of talks, tours, workshops and garden experiences featuring internationally renowned garden designers, broadcasters and authors from Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Throughout the festival, visitors can explore historic estates, woodland gardens, community gardens, sensory gardens, garden centres and nurseries while enjoying practical demonstrations, expert talks and guided experiences.
