County Carlow Military Museum

The County Carlow Military Museum is dedicated to the collection, preservation and display of military memorabilia heritage. This fine museum is housed in a late 19th century church. All artefacts in the County Carlow Military Museum are donated by families of former service men and women and show their careers involving local, national, and international events in which they participated.

The award-winning Rachel’s Garden Café at Arboretum is a self- and assisted-service restaurant which champions Irish and preferably locally sourced produce; a particular favourite is the beef braised in O’Hara’s Stout which is brewed by the Carlow Brewing Company only 5 km down the road.
