400 Years of Landscaping and Planting at Huntington with Seamus O’Brien
To celebrate its 400th anniversary, Huntington Castle & Gardens is hosting two very special talks during Heritage Week 2025 on Saturday 23rd of August:
400 years of Landscaping, Gardening and Planting with Seamus O’Brien at 12pm
Join Seamus O’Brien, Director of the National Botanic Gardens Kilmacurragh as he takes us on a journey through 400 years of landscaping, gardening and planting – this talk will be conducted outside and will explore the 1680s Lime Avenue, the Yew Walk, the formal Italian Gardens and 17th Century Wilderness – you should wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. (In the event of very heavy rainfall we may move the talk indoors – but the plan is to be outside)
Event is free of charge; however, spaces will be limited, so please book your place in advance by visiting: www.huntingtoncastle.com
