Carlow Comedy Festival – Barracks: Emma Doran, Aideen McQueen and Emman Idama
A powerhouse night of Irish comedy with the brilliant Emma Doran headlining, joined by the razor-sharp Aideen McQueen and Emman Idama.
Our penultimate show of the festival takes place in The Barracks and is an absolute showstopper with Emma Doran headlining and support from Aideen McQueen and Emman Idama.
Your headliner for the night is Smash hit Irish comedian, best-selling author, podcast host and viral online star Emma Doran. As seen and heard on No Worries If Not! (RTÉ 2), The Tommy Tiernan Show (RTÉ 1), LOL: Last One Laughing (Prime Video) hosted by Graham Norton, The Late Late Show (RTÉ) and many more.
Emma currently co-hosts the podcast Keep It Tight alongside fellow stand-up and LOL: Last One Laughing contestant Deirdre O’Kane. Emma is also an author of best-selling book, Mad, Isn’t It?

Next up on the bill is Aideen Mcqueen, spontaneous (in the losing her keys rather the kitesurfing way), Aideen is one of the brightest sparks in the new generation of Irish comics.

Emman Idama is a Nigeria born Irish comedian, who has been performing around the UK and Ireland with his unique storytelling silks. The 2019 Chortle Student Comedy Award Finalist, finds a way to bring audiences into his life with laughter and wit.
He has appeared on RTE show such as Laughter In The Eye Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway, Electric Picnic, Des Bishop’s “This is Ireland”, in 2016, The Year That’s In It 2015 and more.
A resident host at Stitches Comedy Club the multi award comedian has open for acts such as Eric Cantona, Jamali Maddix, Seann Walsh, Seann Patton & many more.

Carlow Comedy Festival is part of Féile Lonrach – Festival of Joy, Carlow’s brand-new Christmas Festival brought to you by Carlow County Council with support of Carlow Tourism , County Carlow Chamber , Carlow Regional Youth Services and An Garda. All proceeds from tickets from Carlow Comedy Festival goes to Pan Celtic 2026.
