Carlow Tourism hosts its annual golf classic featuring three top quality courses – Carlow, Golf Club, Bunclody Golf and Fishing Club and Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort.
Over the years the classic has brought golfers from all over Ireland and from the UK to enjoy excellent golf, while visitors also appreciate the great accommodation on offer throughout the county and the convivial atmosphere of the event.
The County Carlow Golf Classic has built a strong reputation as a professionally run tournament on three excellent courses, with each posing different challenges for the golfer. Equally however players see the competition as a great social event, offering great value for money with many golfers returning year after year.
The package includes three rounds of golf, daily lunch for participants, a gala dinner and a substantial prize fund of €7,000, with overall, ladies, daily and mixed prizes for the winning participants. For 2026, the gala dinner will take place in Carlow Town, at the four-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel, Kilkenny Road, Carlow on Wednesday, 9th September 2026 at 8 p.m. Participants remain free to choose accommodation that best suits their plans.
Cost: €240 per person featuring three rounds of golf, three lunches, gala dinner followed by entertainment and prize fund of €7,000.
