Please be advised that we will be holding the Kerala House Boat Race on Monday, 10th April 2023 in Carlow Town Park. The event is a dragon boat regatta on the River Barrow in Carlow Town with 18 teams competing from the Indian community of Ireland. The event is being run by the Irish Dragon Boat Association for Kerala House which is a non-profitable, socio-cultural club formed by the Indian community in Ireland.

Over 350 competitors will battle it out on the day to see who has what it takes to be crowned the 2023 Winner! This full day family event will include traditional Indian food stalls showcasing the cuisine from the Kerala area, as well as some other family entertainment such as the Kerala House drummers. The event is free to spectators. Come join in the fun with boat racing from 10:40hrs to 17:00hrs.
