Pan Celtic International Festival

The International Pan Celtic Council announced that the town of Carlow has been selected to host the 2026 and 2027 International Pan Celtic Festival. The festival is held annually at Easter to celebrate all aspects of Celtic culture and heritage, strengthen the bonds of kinship among the Celtic nations and encourage inter-Celtic trade and tourism between the six participating nations, Scotland, Brittany, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall and Isle of Man.
The 2026 International Pan Celtic Festival will be held from 7th – 11th April 2026!

The festival will feature a broad program of events, including storytelling, lectures, singing, and dance competitions, with the common language spoken during the event being English. The various performances will take place in different location throughout Carlow Town.
