Samhain Festival 25 sees the tranquil paths of the Delta Sensory Gardens transformed into a gently haunted landscape, where nature and folklore entwine. Shadows lengthen, spirits stir and something (or someone) might be waiting just around the corner…

Ghosts in the Gardens invites visitors of all ages to wander through the gardens, transformed with spooky yet family-friendly decorations – from ghostly brides and grooms to skeleton cyclists and eerie graveyard scenes.

Then on Sunday 2 November, the experience reaches a chilling peak with special live open-air theatre performances by Barnstorm Theatre Company. Visitors will encounter ghostly figures from times long past, each with their own haunting tale to tell. Prepare to meet mischievous púcas, mournful banshees and long-forgotten souls with each garden revealing a different character. Laced with myth and mystery, each story will gently thrill guests of all ages, whether you choose to interact or simply listen.

Designed with a sensory-friendly experience in mind, Ghosts in the Gardens allows guests to explore at their own pace. Performances are gentle and low-impact, with minimal loud noises or sudden scares. Visitors can pause, skip or return to stories as they choose, making the experience comfortable and inclusive for all. With relaxed timing and plenty of space to roam freely, it’s the perfect way to celebrate Samhain in a safe and welcoming setting.
