Sensory Sunday at The Exchange

“Sensory Sunday” specially designed for families with children with additional needs
This event is being hosted for a 3rd time and will be hosted one more time between now and Christmas, with each session designed to provide a calm, safe, and fun environment.
The second Sensory Sunday will take place in partnership with Scats Bouncing Castles and the Sensco Sensory Bus, where families can enjoy:
✅ The Sensco Sensory Bus
✅ Bouncing castles (quiet and fun-friendly)
✅ Gentle games and activities

Important Info
Tickets are first-come, first-served.
Each family session lasts 1 hour (45 minutes of play + 15 minutes for changeover).
Please arrive 10 minutes before your session to ensure a smooth transition.
Parents/guardians must remain with children at all times.

Terms & Conditions
Tickets are available on Eventbrite on a first-come, first-served basis.
As this is a free event, each email account can book a maximum of 4 tickets and one session only.
Tickets (E-tickets) are required for entry and must be shown on the day. They cannot be resold or transferred without consent from Carlow County Council.
Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian aged 18 years or over
Health & Safety
Please follow safety guidelines and signage provided by Scats Bouncing Castles and Sensco staff.
Height, age, size, or medical restrictions may apply on some activities.
For safety reasons, guests with plaster casts are not permitted on bouncing castles.
Comfortable clothing and footwear are advised.
Behaviour & Conduct
Sensory Sunday is designed as a welcoming and inclusive space. Respectful behaviour is expected at all times.
Threatening or abusive behaviour towards staff or other visitors will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the venue.
No pets (except registered assistance dogs) are permitted.
Prohibited items include alcohol, weapons, fireworks, glass bottles, and any other unsafe objects.
Photography
Families are welcome to take photos of their own children. Out of respect for privacy, photography of other children/families is not permitted without consent.
Carlow County Council and its partners may take photos/videos for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to this unless you notify staff on the day.
