The Carlow Duathlon Returns To SETU
Run, Cycle, And Conquer The Track This March!
Get ready to test your limits at The Carlow Duathlon on Sunday 15th March 2026. Taking place at the premier SETU Sports Campus (R93 AYW9), this event is designed to be inclusive for all athletes aged 16 and over. Whether you are a seasoned triathlete or a first-timer, this sprint-distance challenge offers a fast, flat, and supportive environment.
The race kicks off at 10:00 AM and follows an exciting sprint format:
- Run 1 (5km): A flat route covering the athletics track, grass, and footpaths.
- Bike (20km): A swift, flat road course through the local landscape.
- Run 2 (3km): A final push on the track and footpaths to the finish line.
Registration is open now and must be completed by 13th March 2026. Please note that a one-day membership may be required for those without a season license. This event is a fantastic way to embrace community spirit and kickstart your spring fitness goals on Carlow’s top-tier sporting grounds.
