Cruinniú na nÓg, a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Creative Youth Plan, is Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people.  

A group of young misfits called "The Goonies" discover an ancient treasure map in their attic and set out on a thrilling adventure to find a legendary pirate's long-lost fortune, hoping to use the wealth to save their neighborhood from foreclosure. For fans, The Goonies (1985) is the ultimate time capsule of childhood. Directed by Richard Donner and dreamt up by Steven Spielberg, it captures a world where rainy days lead to pirate maps, unearthing a feeling of bravery and magic before adult cynicism sets in.

Join artist and organiser Kate O’Shea for a hands-on zine making workshop using printmaking and collage techniques.
