Have A Gawk, A relaxed social art club for adults.
Have you ever wondered what art was all about, or would you like to learn more about artists and exhibitions in a relaxed , fun environment?
These weekly sessions take place every Friday afternoons at the Visual from 2.30-3.30pm. Artists Mary Jo Gilligan will bring the group through the exhibitions with a different topic topic of focus each. There will be conversations about the art and playful making sessions exploring different techniques, followed by tea and coffee.
You don’t need to have any prior experience to attend and enjoy these mindful, social meetings; they should be useful for all levels of experience and interest. These workshops are for adults of all ages and all materials will be provided. Book your spot as places are limited.
This seasons exhibitions include Fiona Hallinan “We Turn Towards an Ending and pay Attention”, Richard Profit “Shadow the Solar Trail”, Margaret Walker “The Town that I loved so well” and Emma Martin “KING | SHINE”.
