MANUFACTURE AND SUPPLY OF BESPOKE PLASTER MOULDINGS
We have a large inventory of cornice and covings both ornate and plain for interior and exterior works. We can advise on size and design that is most suited to your property and offer a high standard of product and fitting. If there is a cornice type that we do not have in stock we can replicate or design to your specifications.
CENTREPIECES / CEILING ROSES
Our Ceiling Roses are of an extremely high standard ranging from the very small plain rose to the larger multi-piece ceiling rose. Each of our Ceiling Roses is handmade with attention to detail and a sharpness that is second to none. We have one of the largest selection of multipiece ceiling roses in the country ranging from Victorian and Georgian designs to simpler more modern styles. These ornate ceiling roses are made from multiple small pieces (leaves, flowers etc.) which are then individually fitted to the ceiling.
ARCHWAYS / PANEL MOULDING / NICHES / CORBELS
We have numerous different styles and designs of Archways, Panel Mouldings, Niches and Corbels and will also advise and design to suit our Client’s needs. An archway can be added to create a feature in an area where for example a doorway has been removed, panel moulding creates a very luxurious feeling to an area particularly where ceilings are high and Niches and Corbels are simple extras that can be added to a room for an eye-catching and unusual addition.
RESTORATION / PAINT REMOVAL
We are experts in the area of restoration and preservation of ornate plasterwork and have worked on numerous Georgian and Victorian homes, Hotels and Courthouses throughout Ireland. We will always endeavour to save original mouldings and restore plasterwork to what it would have been when first installed.
We also have a specialised cleaning/paint removal system that is efficient and environmentally friendly, which removes all layers of paint while exposing and preserving the ornate detail on heavily enriched cornice etc. The system we use is more efficient than the standard ones currently on the market, we have fine-tuned this process so that we get maximum paint removal in the shortest space of time reducing the cost of labour and allowing jobs to progress at a better pace.
CEILING PINNING
As part of our service, we also advise and carry out ceiling pinning, which helps to stabilise and support ceilings when construction work is underway and so prevents unnecessary loss of ornate work or ceiling infrastructure.
