“Cruinniu na nÓg” Carlow 10th June

A day of free creativity for children and young people

Cruinniu na nÓg, celebrates encourages children and young peoples participation in culture and creativity through performance, coding, theatre, art and music workshops, readings, screenings, special events and much more. Events are free, local and activity based. It’s a day for “doing” “making” and “creating”. Ireland is the first and only country in the world to have a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18.

Cruinniú na nÓg Carlow is part of the Creative Ireland Programme and is managed and coordinated by Carlow County Council Arts Service.

Carlow County Council Arts Service are calling on all young people to fire up their imaginations and take part in one of the free Cruinniú na nÓg events that will take place around the County on Saturday 10th June 2023.

Now in its sixth year, Cruinniú na nÓg celebrates and encourages participation by children and young people in creative activities in their local neighbourhoods and communities. The Programme is led by the local Creative Ireland Carlow Culture and Creativity Team, coordinated through the County Council Arts Service, with huge support from local organisations, creative practitioners, and community groups. It includes everything from science workshops in your local library, a Fun on the Green event with Take A Part Carlow on the Tullow Rd, Imagine If….. Art Workshops at Visual Carlow and so much more!
