Heritage week is coming to Lisnavagh House & Gardens
Enjoy a day of the history of Lisnavagh House & Gardens and the Farmyard: on 12 August from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free of charge! William McClintock Bunbury will facilitate the talk, he will be talking about:
💫 Built Heritage: The history of Lisnavagh House & Gardens and the Bunbury family.
🌱 Environmental Heritage: A woodland walk to the FarmYard & hedge-laying workshop.
👨🏼🌾 Hedge-laying Workshop: Dr. Eoin Donnelly, a professional hedge-layer & master craftsman will give a presentation on the traditional skill and benefits of hedge-laying and the importance of protecting our environmental heritage.
🌳 The Lisnavagh Timber Project: William Bunbury will give a talk about his work at Lisnavagh, a project which aims to add value to the hardwood timber from the woodlands.
🚶🏼♀️🚶🏻 You can also join us for a woodland walk to the FarmYard from the House & Gardens where wood-fired pizza & organic salad from our gardens will be available at the FarmYard café. Booking is essential and bring your wellies and raincoat!
