Immerse yourself in the vibrant spectacle of this most beautiful flower. Renowned as one of Ireland’s most beautiful gardens, Altamont Gardens offers a great display of rhododendrons, showcasing a variety of species. Visitors are invited to wander the garden paths, where cascades of colour and beautiful fragrances fill the air.

Learn about the history of the collection, which was first started by Fielding Lecky Watson, father of Corona North in the 1920s from knowledgeable guides. You will also learn about the care and cultivation of this special flower along with tips to incorporate them into your own garden.

Free guided tours daily (on the hour) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
